You can see the available books for your child. We have workbooks and parent guides for those who want to work off the computer. Then we have Printables which are worksheets that you are asked to print to use in the online course. You can print those for free, or you can buy those worksheets as a low-cost book. The link to print those are on each course page where applicable. Go ahead and click on the book image. Then come back to finish up.

It's just changing the day number. Lessons don't move forward unless individually marked complete from the student page. Go ahead and click the checkmark.

Points:
You can make up your own rewards for points earned. I let my kids spend their earned points on treats. They might "buy" ice cream or game time. Points are awarded automatically for completed assignments. You can add points as you wish. Change the 20 to 200 and click on + to add points. Then click on - to take them away and reset to 0.
Add or subtract points below.

Click plus or minus to add or subtract points. They automatically receive points for finishing assignments.
Below is the Student section. You will come here to set up for each individual student. Edit Student is for changing the name. You'll use this section to add more students later. Click on the Student Color block and choose a color. It will appear around the student course blocks.
It's time to register for an account. It will take you through a donation page, but a donation is NOT required. Click below and go from this browser so it will remember the choices you've already made. Then you'll come back to Parents (Settings) to add another student or to use the placement tools and finish setting up.
Here is where we'll start setting up courses. Click on Set Level and Theme (below).
You'll want to make sure the default courses are what's best for your child. Use the Placement Guides (and test) to help you place your child in the best math, reading, and language arts courses for them. Later you can carefully peruse those and have your children take the placement test if you think that would help you place them. For now, click on the Placement Guides to check them out and then come on back to continue.
Use this page just to set up for the school year. The lesson numbers will progress forward themselves as you mark each lesson and day complete from the student's page.
You can tweak course selection from here. The recommended default courses are all selected. Click the X to remove a course. Give it a try and remove the math course block. We'll restore it in a moment.
Clicking on the course title will take you to the top of the course page where you can see any notes about the course including its description, any materials needed, and any books available. Give it a try and come back.
To change any individual course up or down one level to choose an easier or harder course, click on Previous Course or Next Course. Each course block has the courses in their recommended order (Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, ..., Algebra 1, Geometry, etc.). Give it a try.
To change the order of how the courses will appear on the student page, click on Move Up or Move Down. Give it a try. The default is the recommended order. It's suggested to put the harder things first.
Scroll down the courses. Look for Computer. What does the note at the bottom of the course block say? Some courses will only show up on the student page once a week, but they will always be on this Settings page. The program will automatically put one of the weekly specials on the student page each day. Computer will show up on days ending with 2 and 7, such as Day 42 and Day 47 as is shown at the top of the page.
